Adventure Six: Sent Into the World

Destination: Sent Into the World

“Your Adventure Isn't Over!”

Explorers, look at how far we've traveled!

First, we discovered that everyone is welcome in God's Kingdom.

Then we walked the Path of Love.

We followed the River of Grace.

We climbed the Mountain of Courage.

Last week, we crossed the Bridge of Hope.

And today…we've reached our final destination.

But I've got some surprising news.

This isn't really the end.

Jesus tells His followers: You are the light of the world.  — Matthew 5:14 (NIV)

That means everything we've discovered on our adventure is meant to go somewhere.

Your Passport shows where you've been.

But following Jesus is about where you're going next.

When you welcome someone who feels left out—you take God's Kingdom with you.

When you show kindness—you share God's love.

When you forgive—you let grace flow.

When you do what's right even when you're afraid—you show courage.

When you encourage someone who's having a hard time—you share hope.

And when you do those things…you shine God's light.

Jesus sends His Explorers out into the world—not alone, but with a promise: And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. — Matthew 28:20 (NIV)

So Explorers, Adventure Six isn't telling us that our journey is finished.

It's telling us: GO!

Take God's welcome.

Take God's love.

Take God's grace.

Take courage.

Take hope.

And wherever you go…SHARE GOD'S LIGHT!

Closing Prayer

God, thank You for every adventure we have shared. 
Help us carry Your love, grace, courage, and hope wherever we go. 
Let our lives shine with the light of Jesus. 
And remind us that wherever You send us, You go with us. 
Amen.
